6th week of the #lamagiadelleerbe column and, this time, we talk about the plant that symbolizes Easter: the olive tree. THE TRUE ORIGIN OF EASTER ☀️ Do you know that the origins of Easter are not Christian? In fact, every Easter symbol derives from much more ancient Gentile traditions, nothing to do with Jesus and Christianity. The very name of Easter, in English Easter, derives from Ostara / Eostre, a festival dedicated to the Mother Goddess, Lady of light, fertility, sex and rebirth. This recurrence corresponded to the vernal equinox, which is the same period as Easter. "THE OLIVE TREE: the origin of the Olive tree, used by Christians as a symbol of peace, was actually the symbol of the Goddess Minerva / Athena. She was in fact equipped with armor and weapons but her mission was not that of war but of the defense of peace, it is no coincidence that wisdom, arts and knowledge are the qualities of Athena that inspired the Athenian people. The olive tree was his sacred plant and therefore became a symbol of peace and the struggle for peace and justice. Furthermore, the Mother Goddess was often represented as She who brings the light, represented with a torch raised to the sky and it is no coincidence that the olive tree was also the tree from which the oil was obtained that was used to illuminate the darkness and " anoint "during the Rites (" casually "Christ really means" the anointed ")." In ancient times, Thyme was sacred, "the Breath of Zeus" and was used during religious rites by burning its branches, a sprig of thyme was always at hand because its scent is energizing. The poets and philosophers of Ancient Rome drank an infusion of this plant to stimulate the mental faculties. Thyme essential oil, extracted from the flowering top of the plant, has a fresh, aromatic, balsamic scent. It strengthens the immune system and fortifies the body, at an aromatherapy level it is stimulating for the mind, for thought and creativity. It helps in concentration and during times of stress or excessive fatigue by improving mood by invigorating the spirit by returning our fundamental vital energy. Thyme is an undemanding plant, it grows on rocky soils and needs little water. Beaten by the sun, it returns the heat and cosmic energies that nourished it. Thyme is a powerful antiseptic: it fights microbes and bacteria.🌿

III ° appointment with our column "Let's discover the Magic of Nature", this weekend is dedicated to a rare and little known resin: the OUD.

Oud, this stranger.

Also known by the name Agarwood, Oud is a very precious resin produced by the "aquilaria", a very particular tree: native to Southeast Asia which, when attacked by a certain "infection", begins to produce a dark heartwood and rich in resin called 'agarwood', also known as the “wood of the gods”.

The Oud is very precious and has been used since ancient times.

It is used in perfumes, incense, medicine and aromatherapy with a profound cultural and religious significance. When Agarwood is extracted from the tree, it is processed in various ways or distilled to produce Oud oil. The fragrance that is produced through these processes is particular, of great value and in great demand.

It has heady Middle Eastern aromas, and strong and intense notes. The oils were used in religious rites and as a very strong aphrodisiac. Its anti - inflammatory, nourishing and firming properties have been known since ancient times.

The intense, slightly sweet smell of oud helps to relax, taking away stress and depression.

For over a thousand years, the method and recipes of oud production were kept secret. The price of the processing product of this resin sometimes exceeds the price of gold.
