Wabi-Sabi 侘 寂
Beauty in imperfection. This is the vision of wabi-sabi, an aesthetic conception that can only be experienced by turning the attention from the outward aspect inward.
Even my photography follows the same aesthetic ideal: it is not a style defined by the superficial aspect, it is a calm and sensitive state of mind, reachable by learning to see the invisible, eliminating what is not necessary.
My images are meditative, they are contemplation of an instant of stillness and silence.
"If an object or an expression can cause within us a feeling of serene melancholy and a spiritual ardor,
then that object can be said to be wabi-sabi. "
